Custom baseball hats in 3D puff.

Travel ball, Little League, high school programs and rec leagues. We digitize your logo for a curved cap front, stitch it in 3D puff so it stands off the crown, and sort the finished caps by player. Decorated in-house in Dayton, Ohio — $29 a cap with the front logo included.

The cap behind the price

The Game GB998

Baseball has been the busiest thing on our embroidery machines this spring. This is the blank teams keep choosing, and the one the $29 price is built on.

Perforated GameChanger

The cap most teams land on

GameChanger fabric with perforated side panels, so it survives a July doubleheader. Pro shape, flat bill, and a 5-size stretch fit that actually fits a roster of twelve-year-olds and their coaches. Your logo goes on the front in 3D puff — stitched over a foam layer so it stands off the cap and reads from the bleachers.

Any logo, any team colors. One-time $25 digitizing on a new logo, then it's on file free for every reorder. Larger rosters price better — ask and we'll quote it.

Sizing chart — 5-size stretch fit, no adjuster

Extra large (XL) 7 5/8 – 8 24" – 25 1/4"

No adjuster means size matters more than it does on a snapback. Measure around the head just above the ears, or ask for a try-on kit before you commit a roster.

Who we stitch for

A short list of a long one

Rosters from eight to eighty. If it plays on a diamond, we've probably put a logo on it this season.

From logo to opening day

4 steps

Four steps, and you approve a real stitched cap before the roster runs. Nothing goes out that you haven't seen first.

  1. Step 1 / 4

Send the logo and the head count

Vector if you have it. Within a business day we'll tell you whether the mark works in 3D puff as-is, and quote the run.

  2. Step 2 / 4

    Approve the sew-out

We digitize for a curved cap front, stitch one real cap and photograph it. You see the puff and the thread colors against your team color before we run the rest.

  3. Step 3 / 4

    Send the roster

A spreadsheet: name, size, number. We proof it back verbatim so a misspelled name or a wrong number gets caught before it is stitched.

  4. Step 4 / 4

    Sorted and delivered

Bagged and labeled per player. Tell us the first game, not the ship date — we work backwards from opening day.

What we need from you

Before we can proof

Two things decide whether a team job goes smoothly: artwork that suits 3D puff, and a roster that's right the first time.

Logo files

Vector preferred — AI, EPS, or outlined PDF. If the league or school has a supplied mark, the athletic office usually has the vector; ask before you settle for a screenshot.

What 3D puff needs

Bold, closed shapes — block letters and thick strokes. Interlocking initials and varsity letters are what puff was made for. Thin script, outlines under 1 mm and small taglines should stay flat stitch, and we'll mark which parts go which way.

Front-panel size

You get roughly 4.5 inches wide by 2.25 inches tall on the front panel. Wide marks suit a cap; tall stacked ones fight the crown seam.

The roster

A spreadsheet with one row per player: name, size, number. We copy it literally and proof it back — what is in the sheet is what gets stitched.

What coaches ask us

8 answers
What does a team of 15 actually cost?

15 caps at $29 is $435, with the 3D puff front logo included. Add numbers on the back and it's $32 a cap, so $480. Digitizing your logo for a cap is a one-time $25 the first time — after that it's on file and reorders skip it.

These are stretch fit — how do we get the sizes right?

The GB998 is a 5-size stretch fit with no adjuster, so size matters more than it does on a snapback. Measure around the head just above the ears and use the chart above. For a roster over about 20 we'd rather send a try-on kit first than reprint later.

Can every cap have a different number?

Yes — $3 per cap, no extra setup. A hundred different numbers is the same job to us as a hundred identical caps.

How late can we order before opening day?

Seven to ten business days from the moment you approve the sew-out, plus about a week if you're adding numbers. Tell us the date of the first game and we'll tell you the real cut-off rather than guessing at it.

Can you match our exact team color?

Close, not exact. Thread comes in fixed colors — we match to the nearest Madeira number and show you the match on the sew-out, on your actual cap color, before we run the roster.

Can we add caps for parents and coaches?

Yes, and most teams do. Same logo, same setup, same price. Add-ons later run at the same per-cap price with no new setup, though they usually ship separately.

Do you do the jerseys too?

Yes — jerseys, practice tees, warm-ups and coaches' polos, sorted and bagged by player alongside the caps. One job, one invoice, one delivery. See apparel and team uniforms.

Can we use a different cap?

Of course. The GB998 is what most teams land on, but we stock structured, unstructured, trucker, rope and fitted blanks. Tell us the look and the budget and we'll send three or four options.

Get the team on the field.

Send the logo, the head count and the date of your first game. You get a written quote and a stitched sample before the roster runs — no deposit to find out what it costs.
