What we put it on

A short list of a long one

DTF sticks to almost anything with fabric in it — which is why it's the method we reach for when a job mixes garment types.

How the job runs

4 steps

No surprises. You see a proof before anything runs, and you approve it before we press a single shirt.

  1. Step 1 / 4

    Send artwork and sizes

Artwork, garment, colours, and a size breakdown. No colour limits and no setup, so the quote comes back fast.

  2. Step 2 / 4

    Digital proof

You get a mock-up on the actual garment colour with the print sized and placed. One round of changes is standard.

  3. Step 3 / 4

    Print and press

Artwork prints to film, gets powdered and cured, then heat-pressed onto the garment. Colour is locked before it ever touches the shirt.

  4. Step 4 / 4

    Run and ship

Sorted by size, bagged on request, shipped nationwide or picked up in Dayton.

Send us artwork

Before we can proof

DTF is the most forgiving method we run — but resolution still decides how sharp it lands.

File types

300 dpi PNG on a transparent background at full print size is ideal. Vector — AI, EPS, outlined PDF — is always welcome and always scales.

Unlimited colour

Gradients, photographs, drop shadows, distress textures and 40-colour illustrations all print at the same price. There is no per-colour charge, ever.

White ink

A white underbase is printed automatically so colours stay true on black and navy. If you want bare fabric showing through, make that area transparent — not white.

Sizing

Adult full-front runs about 11–12 inches wide. Left chest about 3–4 inches. Youth scales down — tell us the size range and we'll adjust per size.

Questions we get

5 answers
Is DTF as durable as screen printing?

In normal wear, yes — wash cold, inside out, tumble low and it holds for the life of the shirt. Screen print still edges it out on very large runs, which is also where screen gets cheaper.

Can you print one shirt?

Yes. That's the whole point of DTF — no screens to burn, so there's no setup cost to spread over a run. One shirt, one price.

Does it work on black shirts?

Yes. We print a white underbase under the colour so the artwork stays bright on dark garments, at no extra charge.

Can you print names and numbers on a team order?

Yes — every shirt can carry different text at no setup cost. Send the roster in a spreadsheet with exact spellings.

When would you tell me to screen print instead?

Large runs of a simple one- or two-colour design — roughly 100 pieces and up. At that point screen printing gets cheaper per shirt, and we'll tell you when you cross the line.

Ready when you are.

Send the artwork, the garment and the size breakdown. You get a written quote and a digital proof before anything runs — no deposit to find out what it costs.
